weekend

Busy wearing lots of different hats. The Terry that's me is always there but I realise I'm different things to those I love.

Grama ? I sure am and love it.  Friday was Grandparent day at school so I braved the morning rush and went to school. Saturday DH and I ventured out to attend Panorama  steel band competition.

Awen with a  big smile getting ready to play Land Down Under. She has been playing for four years and loves it.

..Cadel's first year and first performance. Played well and then we all went out for dinner at his request. Ginger beer treat and all.

Sunday bright and early I was wearing the quilting hat.

finished.

I will make a laundry bag to send with the quilt. I enjoyed making this quilt. It gave me time to remember my father a sailor and duck hunter the connections we all have with the quilts we make.

Have a good week   Terry

I thought you were going to show the Halloween hat :) You must have felt so proud of Alwen and Cadel on grandparents day!! It's wonderful to think the quilt you've made will be going overseas to someone who will really treasure it. And wonderful that it bought you memories of your father.

Many of the older properties in London and even some of the newer ones are prone to drainage problems. With everything from root growing into pipes, your own home waste blocking the pipe, to leaves and gravel being washed into the storm drains, there are a million and one things that can cause pipes inside and outside your home to be blocked.

I am in love with the look of and idea for the This Goes With THat quilt. I ordered some paper pieces to begin to try to make one. Or, something like this... I love how you used the little whimsical pieces of fabrics. You are so talented!
