Boxing Day

I didn't have a box ready to give to the tradesmen or house hold help . Tradition goes back to the Middle Ages.
So spent the day and the next stitching up a storm getting a box ready for today's post.

I don't know the person it will go to or where he is. I do know he deserves a quilt and a whole lot more just because. He's not at home for Christmas just somewhere serving his country.
D.H. pronounced it a blokes quilt and it is. An Aussie quilt of animals and green and gold. I will post it with a package of Tim Tams and be happy.  Can you see me smiling?

Stars

I wanted a small seasonal project. In years gone past I baked lots to sustain the feeling of Christmas. This year with fewer family there was no need.
I took up the hook and made some decorations. The blue star has gone home with DD #2. cause it was funky. Guess I'll make some more.

I'm off to stitch some 2/12" strips together for my parts dept. Enjoy whatever your up to.

Love how you used the nature print in the bloke's quilt. Looks so cheerful with all the earth colors.
