Blocks

There isn't a lot to share in the way of photos BUT

a pile of blocks for my Trip Around the World quilt. All 40 blocks are completed and now starts the fun part. Sewing 12" blocks together should be much faster than making the 12" blocks.

It seemed like a lot of fabric when there were 360 strips but I really don't feel like I've made any sort of a dent in the bits and pieces. Maybe if I did some complicated math I would feel more like I've made a dent in the stash.

I went to the quilt show on Thursday but alas no photos. There were lots of new signs saying no photos to be posted on blogs or anywhere else with out permission of the quilter. So all I can share is to say it was a nice show of quilts representing a variety of styles.

Hi Terry,

Well done on making it to 40 blocks !!! I didn't see any signs at the show about not showing photos on blogs. Lucky you mentioned it. Lots of wonderful quilts to see!!

It's amazing Terry when you think you've used a lot of fabric and there's still a lot left LOL!

What a lovely blocks ready to go there. Same here, I just finished a quilt top and I didn't see a dent in my stash either - But for sure I'm not buying any new fabric! Hugs Nat
