No Peaking

O.K. just a little peak

I left for quilting yesterday with this basket full and another very large bag of stuffing.  I arrived home after lots of laughter , good wishes and much less poly fill.

Today there will be riding in the car time  so I will get to sew. Yeah!!   I need this done for Sunday.

Practice

I've been practicing Y seams.

I'm practicing so I can "make perfect" Y seams  Ha Ha. Just hoping for better . This is a 5" square and there is a lining as well making 8 Y's in all.

I'm getting my small square fix as  in this project.

                                                                                                                                (neither did I)


An ort is a scrap of thread  so this is a thread catcher with a fancy name .


I have another one up to the stage of Yseams off to practice and then to GD's Dance concert late this afternoon.

It's Settled

I think..... after looking at this slashed up star

I have decided to go with this red for the background.

Now off to Bumble Beans' tutorial on Y seams.
