Beauty is in the Eye of the beholderA solid cement warehouse is not the most esthetically pleasing structure.
It's contents are.A trip down memory lane : My family moved to Reno NV in 1971 as I was migrating to Australia. The first visit to my parents new home found me craving fabric for a quilt.
Early one morning my Dad arrived outside this bunker of a building.
The inside is as I remember it from 1973.
I shopped till I dropped that day and returned to OZ with enough fabric for 2 quilts.
One for me and
One for Mom and Dad

hi Ter, i hope you got enough fabric to last for another 2 quilts. How amazing that the mill end place is stil just the same - i can't name any shop in Oz that has stayed the same since '73.
i like the photo of lovely brother, a happy soul. see you soon and pleasant trip back, k.
What a place Terry...Have a safe journey back...Dzintra♥x
That quilt is gorgeous! Your color sense is great...I'm jealous, lol!
Places like that are so cool. You can get lost in there for hours I bet.
It is really a good post down memory lane. Glad it's still as it was for you. Hope one of the purchase is for FW challenge quilt? Travel back home safely.
Hugs
Nat
