Stitching finish

An apron for spinning. I guess it could be used for kitchen stuff.
                     But
I needed an apron to use when spinning? Greasy wool has lots of dirt from the padock that ends up on you clothes or your Apron.

All the components are from my stash so it was just my time. I cut the basic shape from a traditional butchers apron. Long and roomy enough to sit at the wheel and spin.

The start of  scarf with the autumn tone yarn. Love both the yarn and the scarf pattern ......Ah there is a glitch not enough yarn and no more fiber to spin.

Solution was to go shopping. Better than fairy floss !!

The top is a blend of fine merino wool and 15% silk. Yummy to spin and current so I will be able to get more if needed.  That is if I get busy .  So gone ( fishing) spinning.

Fun combining 2 of my favorite things.

Have a good week.  Terry

That is such a great apron. I like how you've done the pocket. I use an apron when I sew so I don't get covered in thread but I can imagine wool being messier. I love that pretty colourful wool. The blend sounds lovely!

Great idea Terry using an apron for spinning. I see Rachael us one for seeing....I should do that too seeing I get covered in threads especially when wearing black! Your Autumn yarn is scrumptious...I love those shades!
